Coronavirus

The Neuchâtel English Church community are currently enjoying in person services without formal restrictions regarding social distancing or mask wearing. We are also pleased to be able to participate in singing, Holy Communion and fellowship over tea after the service.

We remain vilgilant however in our awareness of the health and well-being of others, especially the more vulnerable members of our community.

We respectfully ask therefore that if you are suffering from cold or flu like symptoms to refrain from attending in person events. If you feel you may have been exposed not only to Covid, but coming into the winter cold and flu season, any other respiratory illness, again we ask that you either consider not attending events or to wear a face mask and maintain scrupulous hygiene practices.

Additionally we recognise that face masks are an effective way reducing your risk of catching not only covid but also other respiratory illnessess. We invite you to feel free to wear face masks to our services if you wish and to opt out of singing, sharing the communal wine or any other activity which may make you feel uncomfortable.
